Its easy to think of some crazy cosplays and panic because lots of outfits are hard. You can put months of effort into a cosplay and it still not be good enough. However, thats not the case for every cosplay. In fact, some are stupidly easy! Heres a few of some of the
cosplay costumes you can do that may even be in your closet already.
Clark Kent. Not just your average, everyday Clark Kent. No one will know who you are if you do that. Do a Clark Kent with the Superman getup underneath a suit. Chances are you already have some business attire in your closet. Then all you need to make is the portion of the Superman costume with the trademark S-shaped logo (or you can buy a T-shirt with it online) and voila!
L. He goes by many names, but he always looks the same. In fact, his look is so trademarked that even though you definitely have his wardrobe in your closet, everyone knows who youre cosplaying. L walks around barefoot and wears a long-sleeved white tee with blue jeans. Simplicity. The hardest part will be the spiky anime hair, but even that wont take too much time or effort to do right.
ANBU Black Ops. All ANBU look the same when cloaked. Find a full body black cloak with a hood (make sure it has sleeves!) and purchase or make your own mask. The masks come in several varieties of styles. Even an ANBU with a cream-colored cloak has been seen another way to add variety! The best part about the ANBU is that there are so many characters we dont know that are a part of it; no matter what body shape, hair color, hair style, or gender you have/are, you dont need to change anything.
Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV. Super simple. Get a white tee and cut off the midriff and the collar area so it shows off your stomach and is loose on your shoulders. Some black shorts would work for the bottom, but black sliders (sportswear) are probably best to get the right effect. Ed, like L, is barefoot. Get some goggles and youre done!
Double check that your hair color/style and eye color match your character for an even better cosplay!
